Cordero and San Giorgio: from the Langhe to Oltrepò Pavese
San Giorgio estate
The estate, which once belonged to the noble family of the Marquis Sauli of Genoa, houses the 16th century crenellated tower – which has resisted the passage of time almost intact – as well as the underground cellar with its perfectly preserved brick vaulted ceiling. These are the vestiges of a distant past of great beauty.

The difficult and exciting challenge of making Oltrepò their home
In 2019 Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina acquired an ancient estate in the Oltrepò Pavese area to make it their own winery. The place where they can express their passion and skills, where they can put their experience to good use and experiment with the techniques they have acquired over the years. A place of great beauty where great grape varieties are cultivated and where new pages of the family history can be written.
Oltrepò Pavese
Maintaining strong ties to the land of origin, the Langhe remains home
San Giorgio is in the Cordero family’s destiny: the vineyards that the family has maintained in the Langhe, in Castiglione Tinella, are also in the area named after the brave warrior. Indeed, this is the land from which the Moscato Exergia was born, a tribute to the Piedmontese winemaking tradition that well represents the bond and affection with the land of origin.
