Vi aspettiamo per una bellissima giornata dedicata al vitigno principe dell’Oltrepò Pavese: il Pinot Nero.

L’evento, organizzato dal Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese, vedrà 34 cantine presentare le loro eccellenze durante un Walk Around Tasting con banchi d’assaggio.

Nel 2019, la famiglia Cordero di Castiglione Falletto ha rilevato dalla vecchia gestione la storica e splendida tenuta Podere San Giorgio e si sta affermando in pochi anni come nuovo punto di riferimento nell'ambito della viticoltura oltrepadana. È incredibile come il Ramé riesca a fondere sensazioni solari di albicocca ed elicriso con un afflato agrumeto fresco; stesso schema in bocca: tanto sapore nel centro ma finale che sfuma agile e incalzante.

"Quite dark ruby. Truly seductive on the nose – regardless of the fact that it is not varietally recognisable as Pinot Noir; though it might be typical for Oltrepò, of which I haven’t tasted enough to tell. But this rocks! Raspberry and cherry (but I assure you that burgundy is not on your mind when you smell this) with a pinch of savoury but understated oak and the beginning of tobacco leaf. Concentrated, velvety cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruit with grainy tannins adding great grip to the finish." - WALTER SPELLER

"Mid-to-deep ruby. Quite a rich but composed nose of cherry and strawberry. There is a sense of development but covered up by the subtle, new oak. It is complex but not immediately varietally distinctive. Velvety dark-cherry fruit, with a lush but not sweet finish. "Brilliant straw yellow. Notes of breadcrumbs, orange and pear jelly on the nose and with hints of acacia honey. Only the merest suggestion of oak and grapefruit skin. On the palate, lots of white fruit, with lemon taking the pole position. Long and a little mouth-watering. Should improve with an additional year.
